On your niche home page under Bookmark Us you can see several Icons with the words del.ici.ous, Digg, Reddit, Ma.gnolia, Newsvine and Furl
These are all part of a new phenomenon called Social Bookmarking.
Bookmarking your content on these sites sends them to sites where news stories and websites are submitted by users, and then promoted to the front page through a user-based ranking system.
Basically you bookmark your content and add a brief description or heading. Other users come to the site, check it out, and add a vote of confidence if they like it. Thwe more votes(or diggs) you get the more traffic will come back to yur niche. There are also networking opportunities on the sites, providing more good opportunities to seek out subscribers, content providers, sub niche masters or customers.
There are lots of these sites (and this is where an open ID really comes in useful) and we have given you easy clickthru access to the main ones. If you have put up anything, especially original ( or modified , wikiedited, photoshopped or mashed something existing into something new and wonderful) with Digg being perhaps the most popular.
Hint if something extremely newsworthy happens in your niche market (new product, service, announcement, tragedy, scandal) upload a simple article or video quickly as you may be one of the first to Digg this news to the wider community.
