Alice Werblowsky and Carla Chelo are two contemporary Italian authors.
Their first collaboration came about with the book " Siamo Cosi" ("How We Are) In this book, Italy is viewed trough the eyes of 24 women, one for each hour of the day.

In their second collaboration Carla Chelo and Alice Werblowsky have edited and translated the Italian edition of the book "Una Nuova Speranza" ("A new Hope") by Chilean president Michelle Bachlet. The book, written by journalist Elisabeth Subercaseaux and Malù Sierra, tells the story of 55 year old Michelle Bachelet, single mother of 3 children, tortured during the Pinochet regime.
The book talks about her upbringing her exile and her studies, how she became president and how she has profoundly transformed Chile into a more equitable and modern country. In just one year she has opened hundreds of pre-schools, has created a cabinet of ministers that are roughly 50% men and 50% women, and has passed laws against violence and discrimination.
